  • Writer's's Technology Advisor Soung Liew appointed Choh-Ming Li Professor of Information Engineering

The Chinese University of Hong Kong held the inauguration ceremony of the Choh-Ming Li and Wei Lun Professorships and the presentation of teaching and research awards on 6th March. During the cermony,'s technology advisor Dr. Soung Liew was appointed Choh-Ming Li Professor of Information Engineering in recognition of his outstanding achievements in research and teaching.

Dr. Soung Liew is a professor of information engineering at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and a fellow of IEEE, IET, and HKIE. Together with’s CEO Dr. Patrick Lam and Dr. Shengli Zhang, they invented the Physical Layer Network Coding technology, which was regarded as one of the most important wireless coding technologies in the past 15 years, and was selected by Google scholar as one of the ten classic papers.
