Q1. How does our cooperation work?

  • Our cooperation method is very simple. All you will need to do is to upload your video to your Zyviz.com account, and we will then insert advertisements into the background of your videos before you upload to your own YouTube channel. We will share advertising revenue with you. 

  • We prefer videos that are not sponsored so you can earn extra revenue from these videos.

Q2. Which part of the video will the advertisement be inserted?

  • The advertisement will be shown in the first 60 seconds of your video and will last for a minimum of 30 seconds.

  • E.g., if the ad appears at 0:59” of your video, it will stay in the background until at least 1:29”. 

Q3. How do you embed the advertisement in my video?

  • Our AI engine will detect the most suitable spot in your video background then insert a matching advertisement

  • Normally, the advertisement will slightly overlap with your KOL (~5% to 15%) but it will definitely be placed the KOL in the background.

  • Our AI engine will ensure that the ad will blend in with your video naturally

Q4. Are there any filming requirements for the videos I upload to Zyviz.com?

  • Yes, but very simple.

  • As the advertisement is shown in the first 60 seconds of your video and will last for a minimum of 30 seconds, the background up to 1:29" within this period must be stable (i.e., the video for this period must be filmed with a tripod).

  • A plain wall background is preferred.

  • Please do not add any visual effects into the video within this period.

Q5. I am a KOL who regularly films video outdoors (e.g. hiking), how can I fit into your advertising model?

  • Our KOL partners usually will prepend an “introduction” of around 30 to 89 seconds before the “main” video content that is filmed outdoor. 

    • Our KOL partners find that this method is perfectly acceptable to the viewers.

Q6. How long will it take for us to embed the background ad?

  • Normally, once the videos are uploaded to the engine, they will be returned to you within 2 working days. 

  • If you need the video back urgently, you can make a request to our team and we will try our best to cater to your need.We can insert the background advertisement in just a few hours if needed.

Q7. Can I choose the advertisers that appear in my videos?

  • Our AI algorithm will match your video with a matching advertisement automatically.

  • Since the matching is done by our AI algorithm, our KOL partners cannot choose which advertisement will be inserted in their video.

  • However, our KOL partners can always reject the final videos if they find the inserted advertisement inappropriate.  

  • Zyviz.com will learn from your rejections, and will try to insert a different advertisement into your video.

  • If we cannot find anything appropriate, you can still upload your original video in your Youtube channel, and there is nothing to lose.

Q8. Can I place other advertisements into my video along with the embedded advertisement provided by Zyviz.com?

  • We do not recommend this, because there is always a risk for rejection by our advertiser.

  • If you insist, we can try to insert the advertisement for you, and if the customer approves the video then it is fine.

Q9. How does Zyviz.com pay KOLs, and how long will I receive payment for my videos with advertisement?

  • Zyviz.com pays all KOLs mostly by CPM

  • Your CPM will be reviewed quarterly, and should your average view-count increases, your CPM will also be increased. 

  • In terms of payment, you will receive your payment 45 days after your video with embedded advertisement is public.

Q10. Is there a minimum pay for KOLs?

  • Yes, we have a minimum-pay in place to safeguard KOLs interests. 

  • In Hong Kong, the minimum pay for each video uploaded to YouTube is HKD$200.

  • Different tiers of KOL partners will have different minimum pay amounts depending on the KOL's popularity .

Q11. Are there any contracts involved in the cooperation?

  • There is no need to sign any contract.. After we have explained to you our business model, we will send you a job​ confirmation sheet with details about our cooperation.
