Lynne Lee is a Hong Kong-born, Chinese Canadian marketing-turned-film executive dedicated to promoting underrepresented voices in the film industry in Vancouver.
While working around Asia, she enjoyed over 15 years in HK and China creating successful award-winning marketing campaigns for fortune 500 conglomerates such as Procter & Gamble, Coca-Cola and L’Oreal, Lynne later joined Touchmedia, a pioneering and proprietary nationwide in-taxi touchscreen advertising company in China, to head the marketing and client service department managing their multi-million dollar business.
Upon returning to Canada in 2016, she started specializing in productions with a Chinese interest (MEDITATION PARK, WINGS OVER EVEREST) and dialect coaches for film & TV (SKYSCRAPER, WU ASSASSINS, KUNG FU amongst others). Since 2021, Lynne started producing short films with strong social messages such as MY NAME IS ARNOLD (Vancouver Asian Film Festival 2022), music video-short DIFFERENT THAN BEFORE (2022 VIMEO Staff Pick, 2023 Juno’s nominee, 2023 SXSW winner, 2022 Urbanworld Excellence in Music Video Award), ON THE WINGS OF SORROW, and others currently in development. She also has over five years' experience running non-profit arts organizations as former Festival Director of the Vancouver Asian Film Festival, Director & Producer of the Mighty Asian Moviemaking Marathon and Board Member of the Ruby Slippers Theatre Company, creating opportunities to showcase Pan-Asian talent and stories.
Lynne is currently the Marketing Advisor at Zyetric, providing strategic and marketing consultation in the advertising market and opening up the entertainment market with Zyetric’s innovative technologies.
